International Women's Day is approaching and many brands are launching actions, campaigns and initiatives this week that seek to demand gender equality on such an important date. IKEA UK has not hesitated to invite its fans to build a better future by focusing on gender inequality at home. To this end and with the help of relationship expert Jennie Miller, the Swedish giant has created "FiftyFifty" , a digital card game that can be accessed through its Instagram stories. The game is made up of 10 questions that aim to encourage conversation about inequality in the home. Globally, women are doing up to three times more unpaid domestic and care work than men, the game helps couples, housemates, friends and co-workers explore roles and dynamics in their homes in a positive Phone Number List way ,” reminds IKEA . Naming the worst tasks in the house and confessing the hours they dedicate to these tasks each week are some of the questions that users have to face. IKEA UK has also signed Zara Larsson , who appears in a video published by the brand on its social networks. The Swedish singer will give a free virtual concert on March 8 on her YouTube channel, using her voice and platform to speak openly about this issue in a unique setting created by IKEA. A third of women in key retail markets where IKEA is present say their careers are held back because they do more at home than men . We owe it to them to play our part in helping to address the imbalance, and also to all our customers who expect us to help make a difference beyond the walls of IKEA. Greater equality in the home means greater gender equality in society," explained IKEA's global equality director, Peter List, in statements reported by DesignTaxi .
